Mr. Olusegun Olusanya is an avid investor and board room guru. A professional accountant, he attended the London School of Economics where he obtained a Master of Science degree in Economics. He was Deputy General Manager, Finance and Strategic Planning in Savannah Bank Nigeria Plc, Executive Director at Afribank Nigeria Plc, and Executive Director, Union Bank between 1993 and 1999; he was also Chairman of former National Bank of Nigeria Ltd. He sits on the board of
many companies.                                

                                He is the Dean of the prestigious Lagos Business School, ranked first in Africa and one of the top 50 business schools globally by Financial Times. He holds a first-class honours degree in mechanical engineering from Manchester University and MBA from Manchester Business School. He has wide experience in marketing and strategy derived from his work as Head of Marketing/Sales at Nestle Nigeria, Xerox and his consulting work with Nigerian firms over the years. He has been involved with
several start-ups, and he is on the board of several companies. He teaches strategy and corporate governance in the Lagos Business School. His current research interests include strategic planning and corporate governance. He has also presented papers on Corporate Governance in International Conferences. For example, his paper titled: “Corporate Governance Practices of Publicly Quoted Companies in Nigeria” was published in the International Journal of Business Governance and Ethics
(Vol. 3 No. 4). Furthermore, he recently published a book titled “Strategic Marketing of Financial Services – A Nigerian Perspective”. Professor Ogbechie was the former Chairman of the Board of Directors of Diamond Bank Plc (now Access Bank Plc).                                

                                Dr. Olumuyiwa Olusanya joined Health Partners in February 2017 as the Chief Operating Officer and was responsible for the overall technical operations of the company, building a foundation for operational excellence and sustained growth of the business before his appointment as the Managing Director/CEO of the company in July 2019. He is passionate about operational excellence and technology as a tool to driving superior experience for enrollees and clients at Health Partners.

His industry experience cut across leadership roles in other major HMOs including Health Plan Manager Abuja/Northern Operations and Head Client Relations & TPA Scheme, Oceanic Health Management Ltd, Head Provider Administration, KBL Healthcare Ltd; and prior to joining Health Partners Ltd, he was the Head, Care Management (Head, Medical Services) at Hygeia HMO Ltd.

He is an alumnus of the prestigious College of Medicine, University of Ibadan, IESE Business School Barcelona, The Lagos Business School Executive-MBA Program and an executive scholar at UPF - Barcelona School of Management’s International Health Economics and Pharmacoeconomics program. He is a member of the American Society for Quality (ASQ) and a “Six Sigma Black Belt” trained professional. Dr. Olusanya is a member of the board of trustees of the Institute for Healthcare Finance and Management (IHFM) and an honorary Fellow of the two prestigious institutes - Institute for Healthcare Finance and Management (IHFM) and the Institute for Health Insurance and Managed Care of Nigeria (IHIMN) and an executive member of the Health and Managed Care Association of Nigeria (HMCAN)- the association of leading HMOs in Nigeria.                                

                                A renowned Ophthalmic Surgeon with over 25 years’ post-fellowship experience. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons and Physicians Glasgow, U.K., Fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologist United Kingdom and a Fellow of the West African College of Surgeons. Dr. Hassan has worked in various capacities at senior management levels, including Senior Consultant positions in many countries like Great Britain, Saudi Arabia and Nigeria. He is a seasoned professional and an
astute businessman, with strong leadership capability, passion for excellence and integrity. He is the founder and Chairman of the Eye Foundation Hospital Group, Kunle Hassan Eye Foundation Academy and Deseret Community Vision Institute. He is the Chairman Board of Directors of the Summit Healthcare Group of Companies. The Eye Foundation Hospital Group pioneered the transformation of ophthalmic healthcare delivery in Nigeria and continues to drive excellence and expand its reach to many states and communities in Nigeria. He is a Council Member of the International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness (IAPB) and was recently appointed by International Council of Ophthalmology (ICO) as Advocacy Coordinator for Africa. Dr. Hassan is a Member of Ogun State University Medical Council; Member, National Committee on the Prevention of Blindness; Member National Task Force for Vision 2020. Dr Adekunle Hassan is a recipient of several lifetime achievement and excellence awards. He is the first Nigerian and African to be honoured with the International Council of Ophthalmology (ICO) Mark Tso Golden Apple Award. The award is presented to leaders in international ophthalmology for demonstrated innovation or exceptional achievements in ophthalmic education.

Dr. Kunle Hassan was the founding Chief Executive Officer of Health Partners Limited from 2006 - 2009 and was a member of the Board of Directors of Diamond Bank Plc (now Access Bank PLC). He is currently the Chairman of the board of Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital Management Board, Sagamu Ogun State.                                

                                She is an experienced human resources expert with banking and insurance background. She started her career with the Nigerian Reinsurance Corporation with responsibilities for Administration and Human Resources. During her stay in the company, she was responsible for planning and implementing all human resources-related programmes. She also provided significant strategic
capacity building skills enhancement. An avid listener, her leadership qualities were instrumental for building trust and confidence between management and employee. In 1992, Mercy Wachuku joined Diamond Bank Plc (now Access Bank Plc) as Assistant General Manager, Corporate Services and eventually rose to the position of Executive Director with responsibilities for administration, human capital development, corporate affairs and property development. During the critical growth stage of the bank, Mercy was instrumental for the coordination and supervision of the smooth running of the bank’s support and human capital functions to ensure the satisfaction of stakeholders’ needs as well as optimal skills development. She retired from the bank in 2004.

She joined Health Partners Ltd as an Executive Director, Administration and Human Resources in June 2006. Mercy holds a B.A. from Howard University, Washington DC, and an MBPA from South-Eastern University Washington DC She has attended several offshore seminars and graduate training programmes in renowned institutions such as the Wharton Business School, Penn USA, Institute of Management Development, Lausanne, Switzerland, Anderson School of Business UCLA, California,
USA, Executive Management programme, Oxford University, UK, Manchester Business School, 1995 and the Lagos Business School amongst others                                

                                She is a renowned Manager and astute Administrator. Her background in Nursing prepared her well for her current career in the health industry. She obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Public Administration from the Caledonian University, Glasgow, U.K, Masters degree in Public Administration from the University of Liverpool, England, Masters degree in Public Policy Administration from the University of Missouri St. Louis, USA. She also has a Graduate Certificate in Leadership and Management of Non-Profit Organization from the University of Missouri St. Louis.

Her managerial work experience spans across different business organizations, as well as non-profit organizations such as Summit Healthcare, International Recruitment and Consulting, England, Eye Foundation Hospital, Services Operation Company Ltd Nigeria, General Henry – Mrs. Allison’s Cookies and Parmalat Company U.S.A, Eye Foundation Centre for Prevention of Blindness, Liahona Economic Development Foundation Nigeria, Summit Healthcare Pharmaceuticals Nigeria, Deseret International Hospital Group. She is a very resourceful, hard-working and articulate person, a woman of honour and integrity.

She has obtained many awards and recognition both local and international, including “The Best Distributor” of the year for Alcon International Corporation. She has attended many local and international conferences and workshops. She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Cost Management and a Member of the Certified Institute of Public Administrators.                                

                                Kelechi Dozie is a financial analyst, humanitarian, philanthropist and principal founder of I-One-C Limited.

Kelechi Dozie graduated with a B.Sc. in Economics from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. He joined Standard Chartered Bank in Lagos where he worked in Transactional Banking and later moved to Diamond Bank where he worked in the Channels Unit in charge of payments. He left Diamond bank in 2006 to join SmartSwitch Nigeria Limited as the Chief Marketing Officer. In 2009 he joined Pay4Me Services Nigeria Limited as the Managing Director. At Pay4Me, amongst other
innovative projects, he initiated the e-wallet platform and oversaw the implementation of the platforms for: Nigerian Immigration Services (Visa and Passport Payments) and Federal Road Safety (New Drivers License Project). In 2012, he left Pay4Me Services Nigeria Limited to establish I-ONE-C Limited.

I-One-C’s focus is on automation of business processes and transactions with the primary focus of enabling businesses and consumers in Africa with the infrastructure – electronic network – for distribution of goods and services. I-ONE-C’s offerings of Financial Intermediation, Demand Aggregation, and ecommerce ensures accessibility for the consumer, business is performed
electronically and optimally, and increases the bottom line for businesses and its clients.

Mr. Dozie has also initiated and implemented the financial inclusion service at the NigeriaPost Office (NIPOST) locations, Agency Banking Service at Diamond Bank, Agribusiness & Policy linkage conference through the private sector, Glamourizing Agribusiness in Nigeria in partnership with the public and private sector, amongst other projects.

More recently, and in line with his philanthropic nature, Mr. Dozie has taken a keen interest in the rising food crisis and unemployment, and has dedicated resources to combat this in the country. Partnering with both Local and International Organizations for funding, he has acquired over 50 hectares of farmland across the Nation which will be used for Agriculture as well as training facilities, having the potential to influence an entire generation.

                                An Alumnus of the Lagos Business School and a graduate of the University of Ibadan. Dele Salami holds Master's degree in Public Administration (MPA) and Post Graduate Diploma in Education, both from the University of Lagos. 

 He was MD/CEO of Health Partners from 2013 – 2019. He joined Health Partners Limited as Executive Director/Chief Operating Officer in 2008. 

 Mr. Salami was initially employed into the Lagos State Teaching Service in 1995. He started his corporate management career at Dunlop Nigeria Plc, where he joined the HR Division as Factory Personnel Officer in 1995 and subsequently served in several positions. He was promoted to Senior Management in 2001 as Recruitment & Manpower Development Manager.  

 He was later seconded to Marketing Division as National Sales & Service Manager from 2003 to 2006. On successful turnaround of Dunlop’s Sales, Service & Distribution operations, he subsequently became Divional Head, Human Capital Management and Director, DN Pensions Trust Limited. He later served the Dunlop Group as Divisional Head, Marketing & Strategy, 2007-2008.  

 Mr. Salami voluntarily retired as the MD/CEO in July 2019 and he is currently a non-executive director of Health Partners Limited.
